The woods

The woods was a limited edition of hand made blown glass sculptures. The original series was made with a spring and a fall edition, in shades of green and orange. Later we made an edition in winter blues. The project was done with Andreas Engesvik, Øystein Austad, and was produced by glass master artisan Vidar Koksvik. This piece holds no value beyond the aesthetics. It has proven to be one of the most sought after works in the entire catalog, and every time a request comes, it is with a small anecdote attached. "I want to get this for my husband who loves the forest" or "my parents anniversary is coming up and this remind me of my childhood home". This shows the power of aesthetic value in my opinion.
