During my tenure as the Chair, we decided to overhaul the festival's digital backend. When I took over the reins, it was a fragmented legacy system of multiple unconnected systems. There was a separate ticketing system for the opening night, parties, venues, and lectures. There was a clunky interface for the website, and all invoicing of exhibitors was done manually.
We engaged Feed to design and implement the changes. As we needed to maintain a low budget, a lean design approach was implemented. We kept parts of the original design language and gave it a refreshed look. This way, legacy printed and physical banners, flags, and stands could still be used.
