Cork Board

The properties of cork make it a highly suitable material for a tray, as it is extremely lightweight, is heat resistant, and has a texture that is naturally non-slip. Always looking to reduce the object to its core function and value we stripped it down to simple geometric shapes with a chamfered edge that functions as a handle. The shape and material then combines to form an object that is soft to the touch, yet sturdy and easy to handle.
